How hard is it to learn Italian?

I learned some spanish back in high school, so I do have some language experience. I’ve heard that can make the process a bit easier. I’d love to learn italian, as a hobby; just for the heck of it & to expand my knowledge. but I’m worried it will be super hard. And what’s the best way to go about learning it– Books/cds, etc?
Well I'm an italian girl and I want to improve my english. If you know some spanish you'll understand better italian but don't think it'll be the same thing because spanish and italian have similar words but they are quite different. Anyway if you want to learn italian I'm here

I have no knowledge in Italian, but i want to travel to Italy in a few years. And i think it would be good if i learnt how to speak a bit fluently in Italian. Do you know any good free online websites or courses that i can do?
