What is the easiest way to learn Italian {conversational ]?

I want to learn italian , but I dont know whether to buy software,

Consider that Italian has a quite complex grammar, so you won't learn it just listening to an audio course. If you can't join a language school, I suggest you to get a grammar book and a dictionary in addition to a tape. Learn some grammar, then read as much as you can in Italian. Try to exchange E-mails with native speakers, and if you have the chance, watch movies in Italian.
